Description

Only luminance data obtained currently for this interesting object which was discovered while browsing sky surveys by our team member Shaheer Niazi. The object is near the bright star (Vmag: 9.76) TYC 3286-1990-1 which leads to the initial assumption that the nature of the object is of a relection nebula. There is no signal in WISE or 2MASS IR data which would have hinted towards a galactic nature. The object has an apparent size of around 30 arcseconds.

We invite the astrobin community to image this object using their telescopes in an attempt to further understand its nature.
