Description

This represents nearly 40 hours of data captured over six nights. I originally wanted to get to 100 hours but the career got in the way and now spring is over. Might try to hit 100 hours next year.

I've always been in awe of the Hubble Deep Field and wanted to try my own. Coma Cluster was a great place to start. I feel like I can start seeing some dim IFN and even maybe some sort of trans-galactic structure in the background. Need a lot more intregation time to know for sure.

Most of the nights had somewhat poor seeing, I feel like I could definitely get more detail on some of the tiny background galaxies if I avoid low desert spots in the Mojave.

Processing was pretty straightforward. I was pretty strict with subframe selector throwing out less than stellar subs, as I had plenty of data.
Spent a lot of time with deconvolution on the luminance channel to tease out more detail.
Combine with RGB data, stretch and do a few different sharpening/noise reduction tricks to get as much as I could out of it without going too far overboard.
Final color adjustment work done in Photoshop
