Hi Everyone, I asking for help finishing a 2 panel mosaic I started mid Nov 2023. I have been socked in with clouds. Got the Ha data on 2 consecutive nights then in the last 50 days have only had 1 clear night. This is what I have captured so far. https://www.astrobin.com/w4py81/ is the mosaic and the supporting panels for your review. I have Ha for both panels and Sii for only 1 panel. I still need Sii on the second panel and all Oiii data for this image. Basically I have half of the data needed to complete this project. With it quickly moving into Galaxy season, I thought I would reach out before having to wait to finish next year... The rig is a WO GT81 IV with .8 reducer. 2600mmPro Astronomik MaxFR 6nm filters. I would welcome anyone wanting to help me push back on the clouds by contributing / collaborating on this project... Many Thanks and Clear Skies! Fritz, That would be awesome. I ready to write off this season and start on some galaxy shots, if and when the clouds part. That really is the sum total of the data I have collected since Dec 1, 2023. Not very much... Same way last year. Have not had good winters... CS Tim |

I highly recommend this product, it can't be beat! https://www.firstlightoptics.com/misc/zarkov-cloud-gun.html Jokes aside, my framing is a bit tighter than yours, but I have a full dataset LRGBSHO for Monkey head. I'd be willing to provide the narrowband data if you'd like. It would take minimal effort to register it against your mosaic and add, I'd think. You can check out the image in my gallery. |
