Description

I imaged more then 40 hours for this, but got some rejects along the way. I was trying for ten hours for the SHO channels, and came close. RGB for the stars. What made this one trickier that I would have preferred was a reducer that refused to allow good stars in all image regions regardless of my tilt-removal attempts (using my Photon Cage), so I shot a four-panel mosaic and f/10 for the stars, as I can get the tilt out for the most part at native focal length.

I found it a bit painful to enter the full location list in the UI, so I'll add a note here. In addition to imaging at my house in Capistrano Beach (Bortle 6), I also imaged at Black Star Canyon in Orange County, CA, (Bortle 5-6) and at the Orange County Astronomers dark sky site near Anza, CA (Bortle 3-4).
