Description

This reflection and emission nebula is located 5000 light years away in the constellation of Camelopardalis at a declination of +66 degrees.  The reflection nebula is very subtle, surrounding the central bright blue 4.3 magnitude supergiant star α Camelopardalis  (HD 30614).  More interesting to me is the emission which seems to arc around the central star.
