Description

The solar activity can be seen with sunspots, filaments [edgewise proms] and proms [sagittal view of a filament] noted on the edge with the high contrast. Note that prominences and filaments are the same — arcs of plasma in the Sun's atmosphere held up by magnetic fields albeit  viewed from a different angle.

Taken with Lucky imaging with an H-alpha 7 nm filter. However, only a single frame was used for this iamge.
