Description

First light with my new (to me) telescope - SkyWatcher 190MN.

I don't have much experience in planetary imaging, so it took a lot of trial and error to get focus with my 3x barlow. I almost gave up for the night as the clouds were scheduled to roll in any minute, however some last minute adjustments finally allowed me to get the right spacing for my imaging train. Seeing Jupiter on the screen definitely made it all worth it..

Balancing the colours was really tough, which is why they're very much off. I'll need some more practice on this and additional research as well.

On the right side you can see the shadow of Io as it's transitioning, and in the upper left corner is a smudge also known as Ganymede.
