Description

Close in for my second visit. With and without stars.

The Tadpole Nebula, formally known as IC 410, is an emission nebula located in the constellation Auriga. Its distinctive shape resembles a tadpole, with a long tail extending away from the central region. This nebula is a stellar nursery, hosting clusters of young stars and undergoing active star formation. The bright star at the "head" of the tadpole is responsible for illuminating and ionizing the surrounding gas, causing it to emit the characteristic reddish glow seen in many nebulae.
