Description

Usually working with the IMX178 for mosaics, this time I tried it for lunarscapes with a 2x tubeless barlow (effective 1.42x) and an IR-cut filter though the air mass was turbulent but clear in that a IR642-pass filter may have been the better choice. The images turned out to be soft. Only minimal cropping as tracking accuracy was great on that night though I don't know why. I refrained from drizzling since the Neptune-M's IMX178 sensor has smaller pixels and is larger than my workhorse, the ASI290MM. Mars, taken about an hour before with an ASI462MC, is inserted to image scale.

I still think this looks like a flunder.
