LRGB Composing 27.04.2024 04:00

On Friday night I was busy taking pictures of the Markjan chain. When I finished the session early in the morning around half past three, I saw this beautiful constellation in Stellarium. It would be a nice end to this pleasant astronomical night, the first in a long time, and I immediately had an idea for the image processing! Why not a composing of the Mineral HDR Moon, glowing slightly as it gently passes Antares - this fascinating and, in my opinion, most beautiful nebula in the night sky :-) I had already been able to collect images of the Antares nebula and its surroundings over the last two years - let's see if I succeeded in composing it ^^

| Object: Moon / Antares in the constellation Scorpiony
| Mount: Skywatcher Adventurer GTi
| Filter: Antlia VPro L
| Optic : WO RedCat 51 250mm f/5
| Camera: Touptek Deepspace 2600c | EOS-R amod
| BLZ : Moon, 500x 0.0001s 100x 1s - 27.04.2024
| BLZ : Antares Nebula, 128x 180s - 08.05.2023

Image processing:
Photoshop, Lightroom, Pixinsight, AutoStakkert4, Astra Image

Composing from stacked moon images from 27.04.2024 and a stack of the nebula in LRGB from 08.05.2023. RGB stars from a stack with my Skywatcher 150/750PDS from April 2022, because I like the spikes in the image :-) In Ptososhop the single exposures were blended and the halo enhanced. A little fine-tuning of the colors and the contrast and the moon is ready --> Antares Encounter :-)

Shot and processing by me, taken from the balcony directly from the city (Bortle 7), partly veil clouds, seeing: medium to good, very low position on the horizon, about 10-15° altitude.
