VV Galaxy Rows A collection by Gary Imm

Vorontsov-Velyaminov rows are unusual straight segments of galaxy spiral arms. The origin of these rows is not well understood, since in gravitational fields there are no straight structures of constant force. The value of the angles between rows is between 110 and 140 degrees. The length of a row increases linearly with distance from the core.
