After 30 years of work, I decided to take on a new hobby, motorcycle trips through South America, but then came the pandemic with lockdowns and closed borders. That's when I started searching for a temporary substitute from home. The telescope seemed like a fascinating hobby at first. But I didn't count on the desire to learn that it gave me. Today I have so much fun with astrophotography and I want to learn a little about astrometry, that my old road companion is dusty and lonely in the garage.
