Natural science has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I have enjoyed life as a professor of animal physiology at the University of Oslo since the mid 90:ties. When I bought a country house (old farm) across the border in rural Sweden in 2009, I realized how dark the sky could be. Soon I had bought a telescope. Now I have a dozen scopes and three obsies at the farm, and I know what to do when I retire from the university in a few years.
