I caught the astronomy bug when I was about 10 years old at a Boy Scout campout where someone brought a newtonian and showed me Jupiter and it's moons. That was over 30 years ago and I can still remember it like yesterday. Next Christmas, I got a Jason Explorer and was outside with it every chance I could get.
Life has it's little twists and turns and I took a hiatus from astronomy for about 12 years, only dragging out my SCT here and there to view the stars or when a special event came up. Work, kids and other commitments took precedent. Around 2014 the bug caught again. The wife works nights, I'm home with the kids and I thought, "Why not drag the scope out again?" Well, one thing lead to another and I started imaging with the new camera (a 700D). I was hooked.
