Description

Hello!

I'd like to share the result of a first effort in impressing from home (Bortle 5) the Bubble Nebula in Cassiopeia constellation (almost near to the Cepheus constellation border).
That region is so interesting due to the presence of molecular clouds and HII regions!
The Bubble nebula has a roughly spherical shape due to a stellar wind generated from a young hot star!
In the same region the wonderful open-cluster M52 is also visible.  Sure a mosaic will reveal the marvellous of all that region of atomic hydrogen ionized in its vastness and complexity,

In order to capture as much details as possible with a 100mm refractor, I tried to integrate in this astrophotography journey almost 10 hours in narrow band (using the L-eNhance filter from Optolong). Also other hours in RGB (with L-Pro filter from Optolong) have been added to preserve stars colours; then I combined both the processed starless and stars integrated images.

In PixInsight I used the Generalized Hyperbolic stretch which I found very interesting in let all details to show up carefully.

All the best and CS!
Davide.
