Another dive into the CCD data from the RASC Robotic Telescope, this is a VERY tight crop of the NGC 6914 area, focusing on the reflection nebulosity. There were some interesting challenges with this data - there was no Ha imaged, only LRGB, so the Ha areas were a bit washed-out, and the halos around the brighter stars in the region (particularly HIP 100736) were nearly impossible to reduce, and were overwhelmingly blue despite many of the stars being yellow. There was some bizarre ringing in two of the corners of the square sensor which I'm guessing were from an out-of-frame extremely bright star, and some diffraction spikes with CA from another out-of-frame star. On the plus side, all of the dust-donuts calibrated out this time, so I didn't have the problems I ran into with
NGC 4725. The full FOV is uploaded as a revision.
The two reflection nebula are, left-to-right, vdB 131 and vdB 132. Curiously, they are around 6 kly away, a good deal more distant than many of the main stars in Cygnus (Sadr ~1.8 kly, Deneb ~2.6 kly) and the surrounding emission nebulosity is from the massive Cygnus OB2 association.
