First test from my new home (Bortle 5) nearer the centre of town on three moonless nights - fully broadband with just a uv/ir cut filter to see if the light pollution would stop me from broadband imaging.
Based on this one, I'll be able to continue
I had all four rigs going on these 3 nights, given how few clear nights we'd had so I could maximise the data collected.
So, this was my Samyang 135mm on my trusty old SkyGuider Pro - with guiding only in RA - so I used 60 sec subs (also as shot at f/2) which seems to have worked in keeping the tracking/guiding ok.
All in all just short of 23 hours. I never realised there was quite so much dust in this region, beyond the famous dark nebulae in view.
This was also a first real test of GraXpert which I found really great to use and very handy to have in the toolbox if ABE/DBE aren't cutting the mustard
