Description

The Jellyfish Nebula is a supernova remnant in the constellation Gemini and is approximately 5,000 light years from Earth.

This target has strong hydrogen alpha and sulfur signals but I wish I had started shooting it earlier in the year when it was higher in the sky.  A 90mm Apertura triplet with 0.8 reducer was used with narrowband filters and I cheated a bit by using HOO stars.  I liked the Ha version so much I left it as an alternative image.

Thanks for looking!
