Description

First processed photo with Edge HD 8 at native focal length of 2032mm shot in Chino Hills, CA.

Backspacing for the Edge HD 8  without a focal reducer should be 133.5. 134.5 if you use filters. The normal way to achieve this is to use Celestron's visual back 93644 plus your image train and set of usual spacers from ZWO that came with your camera. The issue is that I'm using an Askar OAG which is 19.5mm thick which is a little different than the usual.

Long story short I kept my image train and spacing the same (so I can easily switch between OTAs) and the backspacing on this came out to 130.85  which is -2.65mm less than what is called for. On an unprocessed image it looked fine to the edges so I may keep it here unless I notice issues with other images.

-I did use BlurXterminator on this image, but the stars were already nice so no corrections were really made, just tightening up.
