Description

The Heart (IC 1805) and Soul (IC 1848) nebulae are bright nebulae in the constellation Cassiopeia.
The heart nebula, as the name suggests, resembles a human heart. It is about 7,500 light years from Earth and spans nearly 200 light years.
The Soul Nebula (IC 1848) is about 6,000 light-years from Earth. IC 1848 is also used to describe the open cluster associated with the Soul Nebula. This cluster highlights the nebula, and its brightness is 6.5 m.
