Description

M76, the Little Dumbbell Nebula, is a planetary nebula in the constellation Perseus. It is one of the least luminous objects in the Messier catalog. It is listed in the NGC catalog as a combination of two objects: NGC 650 and NGC 651. This highly patriotic version was produced by combining two images: one in RGB and one in SHO, to which luminance was applied.
