Description

Its been over 2 months since I took my last image from my observatory at Speargrass Flat.  After have moved it 10km down the road on the back of.a truck, the concrete slab was poured last Wednesday and the observatory lifted onto the pad Friday.  After a spot of collimation over the weekend, clear skies on Monday and Tuesday allowed to get some good imaging time with the TS Hypergraph 8 on a perennial favourite: The Tarantula Nebula.

I haven't imaged the Tarantula at this focal length before, and I wanted to contrast the intensity of this star-formation region with others in the LMC.  Enjoy.

Description: Another re-process using the amazing software released in the last year. This time I wanted to do something a little different and highlight the difference in the ionisation states between the Tarantula and the other LMC nebulae.
