Description

Comet C/2023 A2 (SWAN) was discovered in ultraviolet SWAN images by Ukrainian amateur astronomer Vladimir Bezugly during Jan. 6-13. Comet peaked at ~12 mag and soon after passing perihelion started fading very rapidly. I tried to image this wonderful comet several times when it was located very low in the morning twilight, but always failed.
Now it is 16.3 mag. Comet is diffuse and very difficult object to observe.
