RHO OPHIUCHI NEBULA - IC 4604

Rho Ophiuchi itself is a multiple star system visible in the center of the blue reflection nebula. The star system, located only 360 light years away, located in the constellation of Ophiuchus.

With an effective surface temperature of 6,873.50 K, it is about 164 times more luminous than the Sun.

This image was taken over the span of several evenings in May, totaling just under 6 hours of data acquisition.
