Mon observatoire

Construit sur la base d'un conteneur 8 pieds posé sur des plot bétonnés.
Container auquel on a oté le toit et découpé une trappe dans le plancher pour y placer le futur pied colonne.
Habilage en bois pour intégration dans l'environnement, la porte n'est pas encore traitée...
Le toit coulisse sur des rails de type porte de garage.
L'aménagement interieur reste à faire et la pose d'un systéme de recolte des eaux pluviale est en préparation.
Pour cet hiver le matériel repose sur le plancher, donc j'évite d'y étre lors des prises de vues.
Le pilotage se fait à distance via un boitier Stellarmate, qui controle le pointage de la monture, la caméra CCD, la webcam et le focuser de la lunette via un boitier shoestring.
L'electricité est passé par le sol avant la pose de la boite.

Built on the basis of an 8 foot container placed on concrete grounds.

The roof slides on garage door type rails.
The interior design remains to be done and the installation of a rainwater harvesting system is in preparation.
For this winter the equipment rests on the floor, so I avoid being there when taking pictures.
The piloting is done remotely via a Stellarmate box, which controls the pointing of the mount, the CCD camera, the webcam and the focuser of the telescope via a shoestring box.
The electricity is passed through the ground before the installation of the box

Submitted The date and time when you submitted this image for IOTD/TP consideration.	...
Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
