Description

Sharpless 106 (Sh2-106) is a small bipolar nebula in Cygnus. This was one of my first targets when I started digital astrophotography back in 2003 with my beloved Celestron 11 and a Starlight SXV-H9. Now, almost twenty years and more than a handfull of telescopes and cameras later, I liked to return to my roots with today's Celestron 11 EdgeHD and a state-of-the-art CMOS sensor.

My earliest image was taken at a resolution of .393 arcsec/pixel and scaled down for the main version to around 0.59 arcsecs for better viewing. For those who like to see the full resolution, a 100% copy is attached as version C.

Version B is the same as A just without the blending of Halpha, only the straight LRGB.

Hope you enjoy!
