Description

NGC 7026 is tiny at a little over one light-year across at its longest dimension, but it's surface brightness is high at 11th magnitude. NGC 7026 is a complex, bipolar planetary nebula also called “butterfly nebulae” because of their shape. A youngish nebula nearly 6000 light-years away in Cygnus, just 5º northwest of Deneb and 1/3º NW of 63 Cygni.

I started the night trying to image some small galaxies but the conditions were not so good. So I found this bright nebula and gave it a try. I did not have my filters so I think I will redo it again. Also I'm playing with a simplified form of lucking imaging.
