Description

Towards center of shot is the bright star Mirach and the Andromeda galaxy is to the upper left and the Triangulum galaxy is to the lower right of the star. A dwarf lenticular galaxy, NGC 404, or "Mirach's Ghost" is also visible just to the the top left of Mirach. Taken on July 24, 2023 on the island of Ishigaki, Okinawa in Japan.
