Description

These photons have been traveling through space for more than 11 million light years, in all possible directions. From this galaxy to our home, Earth.
What was happening 11 million years ago? No trace of the madding crowd that accompanies us today. A wild world ruled by mammals. We are in the middle of the Miocene, the continents begin to have a more familiar shape, while the first primates begin to take their first steps in this strange world.
This is how distances are measured in the cosmos, where even the speed of light is slow.
The object you see in this image is a spiral galaxy, called the Sculptor's Galaxy, which has characteristics similar to the Milky Way. You can see in the swirling arms, some red emission areas, as well as a large amount of stardust.
At the center of this galaxy is a Black Hole, 5 million times more massive than the sun.
After a few nights struggling with some parameters, I managed to get at least 8 hours of data.
