Description

"Space Hurricane - Sh2-275 Rosetté"
- LRGBSHO 750mm Skywatcher Deep Sky

At the center of the Rose Nebula is an open star cluster dubbed Catwell 50, which formed from the nebula's matter. Extremely strong solar winds rage here, which have already swept a bubble about 12 light-years across from the center. This nebula is like looking into a tunnel of hot gases swirling towards a central dark point.
Looking into the eye of a real space hurricane, so to speak, which seems to suck everything in, but it's actually the other way around - the center is being blown out of the center by the hot stars ^^
You can watch this spectacle for a few million years until it fades into a rather inconspicuous cluster of stars.

This beautiful nebula can be found in the constellation of the Unicorn (Monoceros), just above the well-known Orion Nebula in the southern sky in the winter Milky Way.

Recorded at Bortle 7 Heaven straight out of town.
