Uluru is a deeply spiritual place in the Northern Territory, Australia. It is often referred to as our most sacred Aboriginal site and the heart of our nation. When you land you cant help but feel connected to this enormous rock and wonder how our first nations people lived in such an arid environment. In May this year, I had the pleasure of visiting it for the first time with with one of my Astro mates @_stars.and.stuff_.
We spent the afternoon and into the night watching the transition from deep blue skies and red dirt to a deep red rock and the rising milky way. With no light pollution, words cannot describe the skies and the light show of meteorites as the descend through our atmosphere.
This is my first Milky Way shot and I have to say....its magic capturing this. I have three more photos to edit from this trip but this was the one I was most looking forward to. I hope you enjoy it as much as the joy that it brings me.
