Description

The main image is NGC7635, but what peaked my interest was the faint object just to the right. It looks like a very faint reflection nebula. I may of course be wrong. To be honest I have been sitting on this image for the last 3 days. If anyone knows what this object is please let me know. Planning to collect more data, once the weather clears up. UK it rains a lot.

The processing schema I used is outlined below:

Dithered & Drizzle Stack

Background Neutralisation

Channel Split and Renaming

Red -----> SII

Green ---> Ha

Blue ----> OIII

Channel Recombination in PixelMath

RGB/K ----> SII

Green ----> 0.8*Ha + 0.2*SII

Blue -----> OIII

Photometric Colour Calibration (PCC)

Noise Reduction using Multilinear Transform

STF Stretch (Stretched Image)

Adjustments

Histogram Transformation

Curves Transformation

Colour Saturation

The above is a rough guide of the process as I can remember it.

Credit for this process goes to Shawn Nielsen and VisibleDark.ca.

The process can be found at his website:
