Description

A beautiful Herbig-Haro object in the head of Pelican Nebula: jet shooting from a large cloud of dust illuminated by ultraviolet light from several massive stars.

The light shock waves are clearly visible from left to bottom to top right: a real melting point of young stars!

The combination of FSQ-106 and TEC-140 images gives a real richness of details, still largely perfectible.

Color processing is difficult, with a very high proportion of OIII, as well as the integration of the very bright stars of Cyg 56 and 57.

H : 64 x 300s; O : 47 x 300s; S : 47 x 300s. (13,16h)

FSQ-106 images with TEC-140 images combined successfully with the PI function 'StarAlignement - Thin plates splines' which works wonderfully well, with 30 x 30s RGB images for the stars.

Hope you like it !
