Description

The LMC is full of unusual DSOs.  The scale, brightness and complexity of these regions is stunning, considering that they are at least 20x further away than most of the Milky Way star-forming regions imaged.

The area containing NGC2020, NGC2032 and NGC2040 is perhaps one of the most remarkable, and certainly one of the richest outside the Tarantula complex.   Despite almost 15hours of NB imaging, I have previously tried (and failed) to  produce a good image of this area.    By adding almost 20hours of data from a mosaic of two Telescope Live fields, I have now improved the image to the point at which I think worth letting my AB friends see it.

I have just used Ha and [OIII] data, as I haven't yet got bored with my modified Foraxx HOO palette.   Please enjoy.
