Description

The NGC 362 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Tucana in the southern hemisphere. Discovered by James Dunlop in 1826, this cluster contains tens of thousands of stars densely grouped together. With an apparent diameter of about 14 arcminutes, NGC 362 is primarily composed of older stars, providing insights into stellar formation and the dynamics of the Milky Way. Its distance from Earth is on the order of thousands of light-years.
