Description

NGC7023 the Iris Nebula is bright reflection nebula in the constellation Cepheus. It is approximately 1300 light years away and 6 light years across. NGC7023 is the cluster inside the nebula. The nebula is illuminated by a +6.8 mag star SAO19158.

L:= 36 x 600s

R:= 6 x 600s

G:= 6 x 600s

B:= 5 x 600s

Taken on the nights of 31st May, and the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 13th June 2013.

An incomplete data set that I have tried to do my best with in order to try and finish this image. Seriously lacking in colour data due to the typical UK weather.
