Description

These two emission nebula, dubbed the Heart Nebula (right) and Soul Nebula (left), lie at a distance of approximately 7,500 light years from Earth. Shot with a 200mm lens, this photo is actually a mosaic of two separate images that were merged together, as the field of view of a single shot is too narrow. This beautiful pair of nebulae are located in the constellation Cassiopeia.
