Description

This is my 1st real attempt at an image with my new wide field setup some of you know I just got. I collected a bit over 12hrs of data on this and decided to process it. While I'm happy with the scope I'm unhappy with my framing of this object. There are many different objects in the image which includes vdB-152 a reflection nebula that is at the tip of Barnard 175. A planetary nebula designated DeHt-5 which is the red and blue patch down to the lower right edge of the image.

I shot this at the native fl of my setup which my framing as I mentioned is less then ideal but I do plan to reimage this once I switch over the setup with my Apex-L fr which will give me a much larger fov and I plan to offset the whole image to bring in much more dark nebula as well as the SNR 110.3 which is the red filament that swoops across the center of the image. I'll defiantly need more integration time I'm sure but look forward to coming back to this image later in the fall.

All in all I'm happy with my new setup and look forward to taking many more images with it.

Thanks for looking!

Dale
