Description

I got to admit that I feel a little bit as those old 80's rockstars launching now a new album by using old songs and a, then in the 80s, discarded side b song.... After (so many) moon images posted lately by me, I kind of felt as in the need of posting some deep sky stuff, but the only ones I have available now are (then) discarded images.

Which is the case of the my SHO version of the Trunk. Then, I was not so satisfied with the result, and felt that it was not adding much to the other three posted on the Trunk..... but now, ....life has changed... and I see that image with different eyes!.... In any case, I tried to propose the Astrobin commnity something and not anything.... And I though that putting the four views together of the same object would 1) make Andy Warhol proud and 2)give an interesting insight of the power of signal to noise amplification through filters and the different information they transmit. As a matter of fact, I would have loved seeing examples like these when I was taking my "signal theory" courses....

IN this sense, I prepared for my kids an explanatory slide of the spectrum mapping of the different images, which is attached as a version B. The slide also contains the capturing data (which replicate the one of my already posted images of the trunk).

I hope you like this "modern art" picture (image?). Take care, Guillermo.
