Description

For kicks, I pointed at this patch of sky that includes a few faint fuzzies that I hadn't looked at before. This was really just a test to see if the noise response of my dslr came back down after the summer. It seemed so bad I thought I may have killed it at one point. I was happy to see that I could identify galaxies down to Magnitude 17.7 (PGC215021). It was the faintest in the field on the chart I was looking at. So, I'm looking forward to the cold winter... as long as I don't get snowed out again this year. Observatory envy?

As far as this shot goes, it was only 18 subs so I could definitely have gotten the noise down more.
