Description

A revisit to this target but this time to frame it a bit better to capture Pickering's Triangle as well.  Captured in 2 panels. I might extend this to a larger mosaic to get the other veil in too.Part1H Ref 005O Ref 004S Ref 002Part2H Ref 029 was 025 (was 13)O Ref 023 (was 4)S Ref 015 was 009 (due to image target repositioning) SHO 600s-----------------------------------Pre-Processing:WBPP for calibration weighting100 pedistal after forming grouping on pre-processed files.Registration of all against best Ha FrameUsed gradient script to produce _nsg versions integrated, reference based on WBPP weighting.Integration of SHO channels using gradient script weighting for normalisation. Linear Stage:All S, H, O channels:Croped to remove registration black bordersDBEImage solve Ha frames to use co-ords for SHO frames (via FITheader, copy to process icon, edit and drag on to SHO images)SHO Combine using pixmathImage solved (after adding initial coords from Ha frames)Photometric calibration Narrowband SHO R=672 G=656.30 B=500.70 all 7mmDBE subtraction on SHO imagesmosaic by coordinates scriptPhotometric mosaic to join.(Target = SHOPt1, Ref= SHOPt2 , Blend Mode, overlap smooth -2.2, target smooth 1.0)Final crop inc 1.793deg rotationgeometric 180 deg rotationL channel extracted, decon denoise applied NONE-LINEARHT stretchSCNR(Green)stretched L applied with chroma NRstarnet used to split off starmask and starless image.colour masks generatedcurves applied using colour masksLocal histogram transformation Kern 198, contrast 2.0, amount 0.74HDRtransformation 5 layers, 3 itterations Stars added back in 65%some minor curve alterations and saved.
