Description

Messier 31 (NGC 224) is the closest spiral galaxy to the Milky Way located at a distance of 2.5M light-years. The Andromeda Galaxy contains over a trillion stars and spans over 220,000 light-years across which makes it the largest galaxy in the Local Group.
