Description

During the January Dark of the Moon, Comet Lovejoy passed within 10 degrees of the Pleiades while it was racing through the Nighttime Sky (and passing relatively close to Earth; and also approaching its 1.24AU perihelion). That made for a hard to resist Target...

So, I spent 4 nights with my Canon 60D and EF 70-300 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM at 70mm f/4 1600ISO EQ Mounted and AutoGuided, trying to prove that Lovejoy's Tale really did extend far enough to Tickle the Seven Sisters!!

Mount: CG5

Guide: MMAG

Exposure: 16x180s 3200ISO
