12 March 2015 shorter sequence on M1.4 event but with more frames added in

Technical card

Resolution: 1382x1085

Description

Hi

This sequence runs from 12:05 to 13:05 UT and shows a frame every two minutes. I am not sure what is happening here it looks like the ribbon event triggers a shock wave or is it the flare propagating through the filament?

Any ideas?

I caught a similar larger scale event on the 4 August 2012 from 12:18 to 13:27 UT with my PST, this filament was over 500,000 km long - link below.
