    Description

After a lot of debating, buying and selling of gear, and flipping back and forth, I finally made the move to what should be a lifer scope. At the same time, I decided that for my more narrow field of view work, I'd like to work with a lower noise sensor with higher sensitivity and smaller pixels to get more resolution. I've now made the move over to a TEC 140 and QSI 690. It is pretty exciting and even more exciting, my Atlas handled it beautifully. This image was shot during a Pittsburgh clear night which means it didn't get clear until it was dark and then it only sort of looked clear, but it was really full of wispy clouds overhead all night. I used color data from earlier this year and added this 3.5 hours worth of cls-ccd filtered luminance data shot from my red zone driveway. The difference in details and sharpness is striking. I also love how crisp all of the faint fuzzies are throughout the field. I'll provide an annotated version soon. As always, any C&C's are much appreciated and thanks for looking!

VB increased the color saturation a little and tried to remove the posterization I didn't see before.
