Description

Rho ophiuchi vibes! It’s that time of the year where our cameras turn to the most colourful part of the night sky, in Rho ophiuchi cloud complex. It is actually one of the nearest star forming regions to the Sun, at a very short cosmic distance of about 427 light years from Earth.

This image was taken with very basic astro equipment in the dark skies of Alentejo. I used a star-tracker, my astro-modified full-frame canon RP and the well known Samyang 135 stopped down at f/2.8.

200 subs later I was confident I would get good results in processing this image
