Description

The East Veil Nebula, in the constellation of Cygnus. It is an ancient supernova which occurred thousands of years ago. Although the explosion occurred in ancient times, it is still possible to admire and photograph its remains today.
Last year I have managed to photograph this rest of supernova using a reflex with Super UV-IR cut modification and an Idas D1 light pollution filter, obtaining a 5 hours of exposure onto this object, and I was already enthusiastic about the result achieved. But with the Optolong's L-Enhance filter in conjunction with a full spectrum modified SLR, I have seen a distinct gain in useful signal. And so I decided to try my hand at a post production with broadband and narrowband images obtained with the Optolong L-Enhance filter.
