Description

This was the first time I ever imaged The Moon with my Huetch Canon 6D at prime focal length and was really amazed at the low noise from just a single exposure at 1/320th of a second at ISO 640.

The moon was imaged just as it was rising from the east at 7 degrees altitude at F10 2800 mm with the Celestron C11 at 0930 UTC.

On the final revised image I included some labels of some of the Moon's craters along with the Apollo landing sites and that of other landing sites as depicted from my large Moon map I have as a reference.

Please click on the image to see the enlarged version with labels.

I thought the labels would show up better in Astrobin's upload. I may need to enlarge the labels more to see from this result I now have.
