Description

As usual imaging near big city lights. At 50° latitude north now there ist no more night, just astronomical dawn for 2 hours. Some thin clouds moved through low in the south and estimated 150 km far at SSE the lightnings of a tremendous summer thunderstrom iluminated the horizont. Seeing the high cumulunimbus cloud anvils with a height of 3° illuminated by flashing lightnings from a far distance in a quite transparent sky was very unusual. I feared the lightnings would spoil my exposuers, nevertheless surprisingly it was dark enough for deep sky photography.
