Description

Pickering's Triangle is a beautiful area of ionized gas that makes up part of the Cygnus Loop, also known as the Veil Nebula Complex. This image uses RGB data (captured from Big Stump in Kings Canyon National Park) for the star color and a base layer, and adds in narrowband Hydrogen-Alpha and Oxygen-III data captured from my backyard in Clovis, California.
